After two years at St. Joseph's Home we are once again hosting an international conference for the professional public, health and social services workers, multiple sclerosis patients and their caregivers.
Do you know what is not talked about in severely diseased with multiple sclerosis? Book your place at the conference so you don't miss out! Leading experts from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia will be speaking at the St. Joseph's Home in Dvůr Králové on 19 October. And you will have the opportunity to interview them. No topic or question will be taboo.
There are two discussion panels on the agenda, one on intimacy and the other on
prevention of aspiration pneumonia. And of course a series of interesting
lectures from morning until late afternoon. For example, the renowned
neurologist Radomír Taláb, who will present symptomatic
treatment of multiple sclerosis, or the leading Czech expert on multiple
sclerosis, Professor Eva Kubala Havrdová, will take the stage.
The programme will also include a presentation of innovations in the field of
alternative communication, the possibility of therapies in facilities
specialized in the treatment of neurological diseases and will also get into the
trends in the system of care for patients with multiple sclerosis.

St. Joseph's Home is the only facility in the Czech Republic for people seriously ill with multiple sclerosis. For more than 20 years we have been helping people with this insidious disease, which affects young people as well as those who care for them, to live a better quality of life.
We are co-organising the conference with MSrehab, an association of professionals dedicated to the promotion and development of expert rehabilitation practices in the care of people with multiple sclerosis, and with significant support from a grant from the Visegrad Fund. Last but not least, thank you to Polish partner Uzdrowisko Lądek – Długopole S.A.
